Sketches #21 and #22

These two I did when I was thinking about visiting my parents. I hope they like them :) I sure enjoyed drawing them and then deciding the colors.

I'm sure your parents will love them! It's a parents JOB to love their kids art work, no matter how old they are! My Dad was here the other day when I still had the Halloween colors paintings taped to my drawing board on the easel... I could tell he didn't care for them, but he quickly pointed out something on the wall that he did like... Good "save" Dad! ;)

Thanks, Deb!

Thanks for the anecdote :) Yes, it's true - I love my kids artwork just because they did it.

These two are charming and will surely please your parents even if! The red one has unexpected shapes and super color so I might be more drawn to it, but both are great. I don't think my parents ever had any comments on my art work or interest in it really. I have delighted in the art work of some special neighbor children and a great niece. Do those count?

Do you ever wonder at the letter strings in the word verifications for comments? I keep thinking I should record them and add them to my drawings. Right now I'm looking at what I'll have to type: gogreloo. Isn't it wonderful?

Thanks, Jean!

I bet the neighbor children and great niece really appreciate you, and of course they count :D

I have been thinking about the verification words too. They fascinate me, so close to real words, in yet, not. You should record some and put them into a special Jabberwoky drawing :)
