ATC Yves Rocher Catalogue collage

I've been working on these over the last few days. I was throwing out catalogs and I ran across an Yves Rocher catalog. It had some really pretty pictures of flowers and things. I started cutting it up and used the pictures for collages on 15 ATC cards. I stamped celebrate (white and blue paper), Life (orange paper), an arrow (brown paper), and the butterfly (pink paper). I used colored pencil around the words and to color in the arrow and butterfly. I used orange crochet thread for the butterfly's antennae.

ATC rabbits again

Here's another pair of ATCs with the rabbit stamp from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. The background I first colored with watercolor pencils, then stamped, then I colored some of the stamped flowers and leaves with metallic pens, and lastly put glitter drops in some of the flower centers. The rabbit I colored with watercolor pencils ad added water with my water brush pen. I think I may look at getting another one so that I have two and can switch colors easier. For the whiskers I used some crochet thread that I untwisted. The rabbit is secured to the card with thin foam tape. I stamped the swirl on green paper, added glitter glue, and then cut it out before sticking it down with thicker foam tape. The rabbits tail is fuzzed up crochet thread.

Have a great Day!

ATC Rabbit HI

I got this rabbit stamp from Free Vintage Digital Stamps , but I first saw it on the blog of Cass Creating Now on one of Cass's cards. Cass makes some of the most beautiful cards. I really like the expression on the rabbit's face and the placement of its paw.

Have a great day!

ATC Leaf Dragon

For this pair of ATCs, I used a brush I had made in Photoshop from one of my Leaf Dragon drawings. I stamped the background and cutouts with acrylic paint, then glitter glued over them. The background on the second one I also watercolor penciled. The leaf dragons themselves I colored with colored pencils.
Have a great day!

ATC Dragon in grass

This is the first ATC I've done with one of my leaf dragons. I sketched him and the background leaves then stamped a swirly ground. After coloring and glittering, I cut them out and glued them to my watercolored background. I sketched more leaves, cut them out, and popped the tops up. Hello and my friend I stamped, cut out, glitter glued, then glued down. I cut out, freehand, the grass and glued just the bottom of it to the card.

Have a great day!

ATC Gorgeous

I was making cards for Valentine's Day and was trying out designs to give my husband. This one I didn't give him then, but I will surprise him with it sometime when he is not expecting it [so, shh, don't tell him :) ]

I used stamps, glitter glue, metallic pens, and acrylic gems.

Have a great day!

ATC Appreciation

I like the layering on this one even though it did require a lot of fussy cutting. For the base I used some of the craft foam stamps I cut using sizzix dies. Then pasted on craft paper that I stamped with the sizzix hearts. Amazingly enough, I didn't use any glitter glue on this one, but I did use my metallic pens. I'm not sure who I'm going to give this one too, maybe I'll give it to one of my sons to give to their teacher.

Have a great day!

ATC Valentine's Day

This is another one I made for Valentine's Day. I didn't really have a clear path for this one, so it is a bit of a mish-mash. The colors worked out okay, but I popped my flowers backwards (the highest at the top rather than at the bottom) and I think the 'Love' should probably be popped over the frame... Next time :)

Have a great day!

ATC Happiness

On this card I used the clock hands an fern spray that I cut from craft foam with a sizzix die to stamp with.

I realize the turtle flying trough the air is a bit incongruent, but I liked the way it looked there.

For the background I used watercolor pencils and ran my water pen over the whole card after stamping the dots at the bottom. The happiness, turtle, and bird are all foam taped behind to give a bi of depth. I am still having fun with my metallic pens and the glitter glue :)

Have a happy day,

ATC Friend Thinking of You

In this card I was playing with two of the stamps I had cut from sizzix dies of craft foam.  Then I added other stamps, silver and gold metallic pens, glitter, green metallic pen, and some blue colored pencil. The 'friend' stamp is a sizzix die cut with the s cut off.

Have a great day!

ATC Thank You

This card I made thinking about all the things I have been given :) The gems are from a sheet of phone decorations. The rest is stamped and colored. I popped the Thanks You up on some foam tap to give it a  bit of dimension. I think the paisley stamp would make good background paper, but if I color it, I'm scanning it so I can use it over.

Have a great day!

ATC Smile Friend

I had a few minutes to wait and a bunch of stuff on my desk (I cleaned up later), so I used a lot of leftover parts from other card projects. I used this particular sticker from K and Co. because we were having a dreary rainy day (yes it does rain in Saudi Arabia) and it made me feel cozy.

Have a happy warm day with lots of smiles :)

ATC Friend

This ATC I did while thinking about the friends I miss all over the world. I stamped and colored on cream cardstock then cut it out and glued the piece onto a light green piece of paper. I thought it was too light of a green and painted around the cream cardstock in a darker green leaving the small margin of light green. Then I added a stroke of sliver pen around the edge of the paint. I used silver, green, and gold metallic pen around and inside some of the stamps and put an acrylic gem over the dot in friend.

Thinking of my friends :)

Happy Birthday ATC

With all the birthdays going on this month, I felt like doing this ATC. This card was simple, mostly stamping with a bit of coloring and fussy cutting on the owl. There is a little bit of glitter glue on the stamped circles which doesn't really show in the photo. Also, the white balance is off. The card and friend backgrounds are white, but in the photograph they showed up beige. However, since I like the way the colors look like this, I kept it off balance. The friend and owl are foam taped on to be at different levels for a bit of dimension.

Have a great day!

Bithday card for 17th

My daughter's friend had a birthday last week and this is the card I made for her. The patterned paper is from one of my old scrapbooking kits and the cut-outs are Sizzix (except the candle and flame which I snipped).

Have a great Day!

ATC Daughter's Birthday

I made this ATC for Annabelle for her birthday. The frame and 18 are on a piece of acetate. I first had the 18 connected to the frame with thread, but it was a bit flimsy and I tried a bunch of things to fit er name on. The acetate solved the problem. Well that, a bit of white paint, and a pen ;)

Have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day ATC's

These are some ATC cards I made for Valentine's Day Lot's of stamping, die cutting, and a bit of coloring)

First we had My daughter's visit, then Christmas, and then I broke my wrist (with help from Saba Al Hasa). So it's been a while since I've posted. The cast is finally off and I'm able to draw and write, better. It still gets sore easily from writing and drawing.

Happy Valentine's Day!
