Usually I do these in Sunday school in the margins. They aren't very big for that reason and the fact that I have to turn the page (I really am paying attention :) ) They are also monochromatic, usually blue pen, so this was a bit of an experiment, with color, no words getting in the way, and all. As it started to grow, I decided I liked the shape right there and stopped, before it got unwieldy. But because I usually fill most of the page in my sketchbook, this one feels a bit unfinished as it only takes up about 1/4 of the page...
