Our pastor is leaving our church, so I sketched a card front in my WB2. After the design was completed, I cleaned it up in PS3 and added the central text. We will certainly miss Pastor D and his wife!
I hope he likes it. I am also in the process of printing out a set of cards without the 'Thank You' and 'for mentoring us' inscription for them to use. The only envelopes I've been able to find are to big. Our Wal-Mart doesn't seem to have the smaller envelope card size that they used to have; I've been to Office Max and Target too. I'll probably end up giving them the bigger envelopes to go with the cards even though it doesn't look as nice. Oh, well. (I suppose I could make some the right size, but time is really pressing...)
Love the card and know you will miss your pastor. Our church is currently looking for a pastor after our last one was here for 31 years. He had to retire due to health reasons.
I use those 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 cards that I bought at Walmart. I have box here. Brand name AMPAD and website www.ampad.com where you probably can order them.
I have also made my own envelopes to fit my many different sizes of cards. Sometimes I use scrapbook paper. I have templates but I'm sure you can search online and find templates to make envelopes. Let me know if you would like me to send you some templates.
May good bless your church with a new pastor soon. 31 years is a long time, you must really miss him.
At Wal-Mart, I have been picking up and putting down cards like those for the last few weeks wondering if they might solve the problem. They come with envelopes, are already cut, and could be printed edge-to-edge. I'll see if our Wal-Mart has the AMPAD ones. Thanks so much the recommendation!
Somewhere around here I have envelope templates and at one time I made a template in PS that I could print out on the back of the piece of paper I wanted to use for an envelope.
Making one envelope doesn't take much time, but for some reason a dozen seems like a lot (if the papers were all stacked up and cut with a exacto, the process would probably take a lot less time than a trip to Wal-Mart :D )
I ended up sending the large envelopes with the cards and giving our pastor the package on Monday.
We are doing well, but getting ready to go overseas again.
I have some drawings I need to scan, and clean, but won't get to until we are settled.
My daughter and I have been making cards, which I (obviously) haven't posted, but want to post as well. I should be back in August, assuming the internet is the way the company says it is where we are going.

What a lovely flowing design this is and the word art is so pretty. I´m sure your pastor will treasure it.

Hi Theta.
You haven´t been around for such a long time, I hope everything´s OK.
